Liquid Curative for TDI Prepolymers

This unique curative for TDI urethane pre-polymers was designed to significantly reduce the hazards normally associated with processing pure MOCA products. Our XHD 1537 is a MOCA based liquid curative for TDI pre-polymers which provides the following advantages:

> No exposure to MOCA dust.
> Does not require heating to use
> Long working time with TDI pre-polymers.
> Easy to pour complicated parts
> Easy to prevent air entrapment.

This curative is recommended as an alternative to solid MOCA and Ethacure™ 300 frequently used with TDI based Polyether and Polyester pre-polymers.

 

The XHD 1537 has been successfully used in the following manufacturing processes:

 

> Absolutely bubble free casing of large rollers (hand pour 200+ lbs)
> Conductive rollers (Curative is also used as a carrier for additives).
> Bubble free mining screens.
> Custom cast, bubble free components.

Note:

This product may yield slightly different cured properties from those shown on the technical data sheet depending on the type of pre-polymer used in the system. The curative should be evaluated on a test part to determine the final properties.
